Founded in 1973, Pace Primitive is the tribal art department affiliated with PaceWildenstein Gallery. The gallery maintains an inventory of museum-quality African, Himalayan, Oceanic, and Native American art. Pace Primitive is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA).

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Carlo Bella,
Director

Carlo Bella has been the director of Pace Primitive since 2002 and has worked with tribal art for over twenty years. He has been quoted as an expert in the field by such publications as Le Monde de L'Art Tribal and the London Financial Times.

Pace Primitive has been a lender to the following recent exhibitions:
